SCHEDULE YOUR CONSULTATION TODAY TO LEARN MORE ABOUT NOURICHE

Chemical peels are used to improve the appearance of facial wrinkles, blemishes and uneven skin pigmentation throughout the face, hands, neck, arms, chest and legs. Chemical peels are a safe and effective way of drastically improving skin complexion, enhancing self-confidence and improving overall physical appearance.

The precise chemical formulas composed of phenol, trichloroacetic (TCA) and alphahydroxy acids (AHAs) are specifically adjusted to match each patients unique and special requirements.

Alaphahydroxy peels or (AHAs) are the most mild and gentle form of chemical peel and are composed of lactic, glycolic, or fruit acids. Alaphahydroxy peels produce a light peeling effect and are responsible for brighter, smoother skin, as well as the overall reduction of fine wrinkles, acne, and uneven skin pigmentation. As opposed to phenol or trichloroacetic peels, the alaphhydroxy peels are used primarily for those who prefer to have the shortest recovery time possible.

Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is a slightly more aggressive treatment and is commonly referred to as ‘mid-concentrated’ peels. The Trichloroacetic peels generally treat finer pigment issues, wrinkles, and superficial blemish problems with a fairly quick recovery time.

Phenol is the strongest form of chemical peel, which is commonly referred to as a ‘deep-chemical-peel’. Phenol is commonly used to treat damaged skin such as significant wrinkling or blotchy areas of skin caused by excess sun exposure and pre-cancerous growths. Phenol is most commonly used on the face and has the longest recovery time out of all chemical peels.
